Qualcom is currently operating business as usual with the support desk, field operations, professional services, managed services and procurement all working.
The challenge we currently have is managing the unprecedented rise in service requests for secure remote access and this varies from VPN issues to the sourcing, provision and building of new laptops.
We are acutely aware of the need to get users working from home and we would like to reassure you that we are working through every customer request .We have prioritised this workstream over others ( apart from P1s) and have assigned extra resources to help resolve the issues and to build the new laptops. We need to ensure that all laptops are presented to the customer with best practise security configuration to ensure each device is protected and is managed as per all other devices in the network. We have a very good supply chain for new laptops and are purchasing batches in advance of customer orders to ensure the quickest turnaround.
Qualcom will continue to provide a full managed service to all our customers ,all devices are being monitored, patched and secured while we are also implementing new projects.
