Helpdesk - Deskside Engineer, Dublin City Centre (€30k +)

We are seeking to recruit a Desk Side Engineer to work on one of our Customer Sites. You must be a highly motivated self starter with a desire to achieve in a highly competitive environment. You will be of professional appearance and possess very good interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus and have 2 plus years experience in a similar role.
 

Overview

  • Dealing with day to day PC issues in a busy Office Environment
  • Installation and Maintenance work on PC’s ,Printers  

Preferred Technical Skills

  • Strong Technical Aptitude
  • Excellent Diagnostic Skills
  • Microsoft Skills – achieved or studying for MCP’s.
  • Excellent PC hardware and operating system experience
  • Printer hardware skills - familiar with installing Maintenance kits, fuser units.
  • Other Technical Skills - Basic network/IP address knowledge

Customer Skills

  • Ability to communicate clearly with customers.
  • Sense of ownership of customer problem
  • Flexibility to work around customers time frame – will include out of hours work 

Education
Technical Certificate /Diploma or equivalent experience
 

Personal Skills

  • Strong Communicator
  • Can work on own initiative/Motivated to do an excellent job

Customer Support Engineer, Nationwide (Negotiable) 

We are seeking to recruit a Customer Support Engineer to join our experienced and highly skilled team of networking specialists. You must be a highly motivated self starter with a desire to achieve in a highly competitive environment. You will be of professional appearance and possess very good interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus and have 4-5 years experience in a similar role.

You will be expected to attend customer sites anywhere in the 32 counties to complete Installation and Maintenance work on Servers, Applications and Migrations, PC’s and  Printers.

Preferred Technical Skills

  • Strong Technical Aptitude
  • Excellent Diagnostic Skills
  • Microsoft Skills – achieved or studying for MCSE
  • Excellent Exchange skills – installation and administration
  • Excellent Active Directory skills – experience in Migration Projects
  • Server Hardware build experience
  • Other Technical Skills -VMware, Citrix

Senior Systems Engineer (Pre-Sales), Dublin/Nationwide (Negotiable)

We are seeking to recruit a Senior Systems Engineer (Pre-Sales) to join our experienced and highly skilled team of networking specialists.

You must be a highly motivated self starter with a desire to achieve in a highly competitive environment. You will be of professional appearance and possess very good interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus and have a minimum 4-5 years working in a similar role with multiple customers.

Overview

The engineer will work as part of the systems engineering team. This team are responsible for the following –

  • Meeting the customer with the account manager
  • Discussing the customers requirements and asking all relevant questions
  • Designing and hardware specification of customer infrastructure
  • Presentation of findings to customer
  • Liaising with key suppliers for equipment specifications
  • Developing project plans for complex installations
  • Providing the customer with all relevant documentation both pre and post installation
  • Onsite installation and configuration of equipment
  • Introduction of new products and technologies in Qualcom
  • 3rd. level support to Field Engineers
  • Completing Tender Responses
  • Providing the technical lead in Qualcom Enterprise Customers

Technical Skills Required
